Using glue is a great fine motor activity! Learning to control the amount of glue, the direction and the spread help to develop those fine motor skills.
It also helps with eye-hand coordination.
What to glue?
Collages are fun and easy to make. Have fun while you try these:
Paper plate faces - use paper cut into shapes, pom-poms, buttons, string
Nature collage - pick up leaves, twigs, flower, and petals and glue onto a piece of paper (liquid glue works best)
Food collage - use rice, dried beans, lentils, popcorn and pieces of pasta
