#SundaySeeds because everything starts with a seed……
No, this is not the beginning of an Olympic Race, we are teaching children about positions in their world.
Understanding the positions of object and themselves in space relative to others is an important part of visual perception and cognitive development. It also develops early math and geography skills.
We have several fun ways to do this:
• Watch and learn with Grover https://bit.ly/3wQ14Kg
• Play Hide the Teddy Bear and give positional clues – under the table, behind the door, on the chair
• Watch “A Parade Elephants” https://bit.ly/36TvEYM
Pretend you are an elephant and walk like they did!
• Make an elephant from a paper plate. Hide it and give clues to your Mom and Dad
