Have you filled a bucket?

Have you filled a bucket today?

Last week we wrote about kindness in the light of the tragic attack in London.

We continue this theme of kindness….

Did you know that by the age of 3 children are able to feel and demonstrate sympathy for others?

What a great time to develop that sympathy into empathy and understanding of other points of view!

Our story shows how to develop kindness:

It is not a competition! The story teaches our children how to be supportive and kind to others

By doing so, we will build a stronger community and pass the real test of parenting.

What is that you ask? We believe that what is important is not what your children achieve, it is the kind of people they become and how they treat others.

Several studies demonstrate that people who are kind and supportive have happier lives and are more successful.

By teaching our children to be kind, we are preparing them for success!

Our second story comes from Sesame Street – Elmo’s World

Help your child to find ways to be kind and fill the buckets around them. You will be amazed at the difference it makes….
