Green eggs and ham???

Do you recognize this man?

March is the month when people all over the world celebrate Dr Seuss’s birthday.

Dr Seuss’s books full of zany characters and strange situations taught us many life lessons:

The importance of reading: “The more you read the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go”

Respecting each other and our differences: “A person’s a person, no matter how small”

Caring and responsibility “UNLESS someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not”

But perhaps the most valuable lesson of all is this: It’s better to know how to learn than to know….

Do you know how your child learns best? Does he prefer pictures or listening, or does he need to move to learn new things? Knowing the way that each of us processes information and learns is valuable knowledge that will help us throughout our lives.
